Hello and welcome to my page,

I offer a judgement free space where you can both be yourself and learn to change in ways that feel safe and lasting without the danger of rejection. I believe that an accepting approach can open up a space of trust for you to explore what you are experiencing more fully. While this may sound daunting, I have found that we have little to fear but fear itself and that you have everything inside you to lead a joyful and fulfilling life.

Often these fears hold us back in life and in relationships and prevent us from experiencing the joy and love we have been working so hard to attain. The way I work centres on the idea of creating an environment free from judgement where you can begin to explore yourself a bit deeper without having to hold back certain aspects of your self.

I work as a Person-centred counsellor. This means that, for me, therapy is about the person you are today and how you feel about the relationships you have to those around you and to yourself.

I hope to help create a genuine empathic relationship with you which will give you the opportunity to change the way you see yourself, your life story and your future. I believe that the body can often be a helpful source of understanding and awareness and I can include mindfulness practices when appropriate and desired.

While in future I will also work face to face at the moment I find online counselling fairly simple and equally rewarding.

I am twelve step friendly and familiar with Anonymous and Al-Anon programmes.

I specialise in working with Addictions, Eating disorders, Post-traumatic stress, Relationships, Self esteem, Trauma, Anxiety and depression.

I am Registered with the BACP. I have worked within an NHS service and as a counsellor in private practice with a wide variety of clients. I currently work at the Recovery Lighthouse addiction rehabilitation centre as a psychotherapist assisting addicts in their recovery process. I also operate a private practice in London from the Awareness Centre in Tooting.

I offer a free 30 min introductory session for us to meet each other and give you the opportunity to decide if you feel like I am the counsellor you would most like to work with. If you would like to continue sessions would last 50 min and be at the same agreed time each week. My fee is 45 pounds per session. I offer concessions to counselling students and those on low incomes. This can be negotiated either prior to our initial meeting or during the introductory session.

I look forward to meeting you.
